CM	Lessons adapt to the student’s pace. We seek to build a strong competitive presence on AMC 10, AMC 12, and AIME by combining strong math ability with test taking skills. Syllabus: Competitive Math for Gifted Students. Resources: We use a variety of problem sets. Homework: approximately 1.5 hours per day. Competitive goals: AMC 10/12, AIME.
	Lessons adapt to the student’s pace. Syllabus: Competitive Math for Gifted Students - levels 1 thru 4. Resources: We use a variety of additional resources to ensure that correct work habits and a long-term perspective build a strong foundation for creative problem solving. Homework: ranging from 2 hours per week (grade 1) to 3-6 hours per week in higher grades. Competitive goals: Math Kangaroo 1-8, MOEMS-E/M, Paul Erdos International Mathematics Challenge, Math Leagues, MATHCOUNTS, AMC 8. Pre-requisites: curriculum mathematics as appropriate for each grade level.
	Prepare for SAT, SAT Subject Math, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics. Specialized tutors guide the student efficiently and bring the scores up to the student’s potential. 	Help with Geometry, Algebra I and II, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus, Mathematical Analysis, Statistics. Syllabus: Your school’s syllabus and textbook. SM	Middle school science - a serious approach that emphasizes connections. Syllabus: Geology, Biology, Climate, Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, History of Science. We may use several textbooks. Resources: We use a variety of additional resources adapted to your learning goals. Homework: flexible. Learning goals: Strong all around science background.

PB	We prepare high school students for the Physics Bowl, the gateway to the IPhO. Syllabus: Physics Olympiad Syllabus. We may use textbooks such as Halliday and Resnick. Terms of Service for One-on-One Classes

1. We require 24 hours notice of rescheduling or cancellation of any one-on-one class.
2. Payment for any class is to be made 24-hours before the start of class, at the latest.
3. If we are unable to deliver your class for any reason, you are entitled to a full refund.
4. Delivered classes are not refundable for any reason.

Group Classes

We teach regular mathematics classes that meet and exceed the Common Core Standards. Grade 7 is equivalent to the former ‘Pre-Algebra’ designation while Grade 8 is equivalent to ‘Algebra I’. According to Common Core, appropriate content pertaining to Geometry is added. We are approved vendors for a number of charter schools. Students enrolled at:

You are also welcome to join a group class as an independent homeschooler. Students enrolled in other schools, or who study independently, please fill out our online information form and complete a placement test prior to enrolling. We will receive your information and help place you as desired. Placement tests are available for each class listed below.

Group classes include: 2 live lessons per week (excluding holidays), assigned homework with self-grading, graded midterm and final (either can be used as work sample for your semester portfolio), final unofficial grade (to be validated by your ES depending on each charter’s policies), explicit alignment to standards (CCSS).

Expected homework load is an average of 1 hour per day, 5 days a week.
